New in 2021, tickets for events at Central Michigan are fully digital and accessible via your smartphone to enter Kelly/Shorts Stadium, McGuirk Arena, and all other venues on campus hosting events. Your phone is your ticket! Digital tickets are paperless tickets that are delivered in a mobile-friendly digital format specifically designed for smartphones. Digital tickets will be accessed from www.cmuchippewas.com/myaccount. From this webpage you will log into your account for Tickets.com or create an online account to view your ticket inventory. It is highly recommended that you access this webpage on your phone and save your ticket(s) to either your Apple Wallet or Google Play. Q: Why use digital tickets?
A: Moving away from the traditional printed ticket is all about improving the fan experience. It allows us to put our fans first, better serve our supporters, fans and patrons in a more convenient way. Digital ticketing increases the security of ticket management and the event entry process. A digital ticket also:Â Â
    • Extends season-ticket deadlines that are closer to the start of each season. Â
    • Eliminates shipping delays.
    • Eliminates waiting in "Will Call" lines to pick up your tickets. Â
    • Provides flexibility for fans to manage tickets anytime and anywhere. Â
    • Increase security of tickets and provides instant updates through the digital wallet. Â
Q: What is a digital ticket? Â
A: Digital tickets are individually barcoded, allowing one scan per entry, so any attempts to duplicate, alter, or sell any copies of mobile ticket will result in admittance being refused to the event. This provides heightened security by identifying counterfeit and stolen tickets.
Q: How do digital tickets work?
A: For Apple Wallet or Google Play you will be able to save one pass for each ticket ordered. (For example, if you purchased four tickets, you will have four files and would then click on each attachment to add the ticket to your Wallet or Google Pay.)
Q: What does a digital ticket look like? Â
A: A digital ticket contains a unique barcode. It also contains the customary ticket information that you would see on a traditional hard-stock paper ticket such as a game date, time, section, row, seat, etc. Â
Â
Q: How can I know if digital ticket will work on my smartphone? Will digital ticketing work on iPhone or/and Android? Â
A: Digital tickets work on all smartphones. We encourage fans to load their tickets into their phone's digital wallet (Apple Wallet/Google Pay) for the best experience.Â
Q: How will I receive my ticket? Â
A: Digital tickets will be sent to you via email or by accessing your online account, enabling you to load them into your digital wallet (Apple Wallet/Google Pay app) for easy access. The ticket that is emailed to you is a valid ticket. Make sure you protect it like you would any other ticket. Each ticket contains a unique code that is scanned at the event. If any copies are made of the ticket, only the first scan will be allowed entry. If a unique code has already been scanned, the attendant will be alerted and entry will not be permitted.
Â
Q: When should I receive my digital tickets?
A: Delivery of and access to your digital tickets will be completed immediately after your order is processed.
Q: What if I haven't received my digital tickets yet?
A: If you believe you should have received your digital tickets, but have not, please follow the steps below to make sure they haven't been delivered:
    1. Make sure you have used the correct email address.
    2. Check your junk or spam mail folder.
    3. Adjust your spam guard and junk mail settings to receive emails with attachments. Â
    4. Add our email address TICKETCENTRAL@CMICH.EDU, to your list of trusted email addresses.
    5. Allow at least one (1) hour after your purchase for your email to arrive.
    6. If you are still having troubles please reach out to Ticket Central at (989) 774-3045 Â
Q: Can I print my digital tickets?
A: Yes. With the conversion to digital ticketing, the PDF or "print at home" option is still available. All tickets are fully digital and are accessible to be scanned on a smart phone or printed off at home. The purchaser or recipient of the tickets must have a smartphone to access their digital ticket(s). We highly recommend that the recipients of the tickets add the tickets digitally to their smartphone's wallet to allow them to quickly access their digital tickets on the day of the event to avoid issues related to limited data connections or Wi-Fi service.
Q: Can I have multiple tickets on the same mobile device?
A: Yes. You can view all your tickets by swiping left or right on your smartphone. We highly encourage you to transfer a ticket to each member of your party to allow for the easiest entry and access into the venue. Â
Q: What if my guest(s) and I are arriving to the venue at different times?
A: If arriving at different times, you will need to transfer a ticket to each member of your party. This will allow you and your guest(s) to arrive at the venue at your own convenience. Once the ticket transfer offer has been sent to your guest(s), they will receive an email instructing them to accept the ticket(s). If they do not already have a CMU Tickets Account, they can easily create an account to the accept the ticket offer. Once your guest(s) have accepted the transfer offer, they need to download the tickets and add it to their digital wallet. Â
Q: Do I download my ticket to my device before arriving to the stadium or when I arrive? Â
A: We highly recommend that fans always download tickets to their devices once they receive them due to the limited WiFi/cellular connectivity at our venue.  Â
Q: Can I transfer a digital ticket from my phone's wallet instead of transferring through my online account?
A: No, tickets can only be transferred through your online account. This will ensure that we are able to assist and provide the best game-day experience for those using the tickets at our events.
Â

A: Not to worry, you can access your tickets through your online account at cmuchippewas.com/myaccount.
