Ashley Hill was hired as Central Michigan Athletics' Assistant Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations in September 2023.
Among her many duties include providing philanthropic support to CMU Athletics to ensure donors experience high-level interactions through stewardship initiatives and events. She also plans and executes stewardship events appropriately three times per month to ensure donors feel connected to CMU Athletics programs and philanthropy. In addition, she processes and accept gifts from donors and ensures that gifts are documented to the correct funds, as donors intend.
Prior to joining the CMU Athletics Department, Hill served an eight-month internship with the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, Mich. She was responsible for the planning and execution of a national-level festival that attracts over 500,000 people to the Traverse City community, contributes $33.4M to the local economy, supports over 320 jobs, and culminates 45,000 hours of volunteer service.
A Woodhaven, Mich. native, Hill earned a Bachelor of Applied Arts, Recreation with a concentration in recreation and event management from Central Michigan in 2023. Hill was a member of the Chippewa Marching Band.
