The Central Michigan soccer team is conducting walk-on tryouts at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the turf bay of the Indoor Athletic Complex.
The Chippewas are looking for full-time CMU female students with a strong background in the game and full-time CMU male students to serve as practice players.
Students interesting in tryout out must present by Thursday to the CMU Athletics training staff:
Results of a physical from the last six months.
Bring a document showing the player does not have sickle cell virus.
Bring a copy of their insurance card.
The Tryout Clearance Form and Tryout Pre-Participation Sport Physical Examination forms filled out.
The tryouts will last 90 minutes. Participants should have graduated high school in 2014 or later. Participants should bring soccer cleats, shin guards and be prepared for a soccer training session that includes technical work and small sided games run by the CMU coaching staff.
