SETTING THE SCENE
The Central Michigan women’s basketball team will play host to Bowling Green on Wednesday (7 p.m.) in a Mid-American Conference game at McGuirk Arena. The Falcons are 8-6, 0-3 MAC.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Chippewas won at Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, 84-66, to improve to 11-3 overall and 3-0 in the MAC. The Chippewas are the only unbeaten team in the league.

Tinara Moore scored 24 points to lead the Chippewas past Miami, while Reyna Frost recorded her eighth double-double of the season with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Presley Hudson added 18 points and dished out a season-high eight assists.

• Frost ranks third in the nation in rebounds per game (13.6), and is fourth in offensive rebounds, averaging 4.0 per game.

• Hudson leads the Chippewas and ranks fourth in the MAC in scoring with 18.4 points per, and she is third in the conference in assists per game (5.4).

• Central Michigan ranks second in the nation in free throw percentage (83.1 percent).

SCOUTING
• Bowling Green dropped its fourth consecutive game on Saturday, 83-74, to Ball State.

• Carly Santoro leads the Falcons in scoring at 14.6 points per game. The 5-foot-10 junior also leads the Falcons in rebounds (10.6 per).

• Santoro had 17 points and 11 rebounds against Ball State for her fourth double-double of the season.

NEXT
Central Michigan is scheduled to play host to Kent State (8-7, 1-2 MAC) in a MAC game at McGuirk Arena on Saturday (1 p.m.). The Golden Flashes are scheduled to play Eastern Michigan in a league game at home on Wednesday. The game is part of a Chippewa basketball doubleheader. The CMU men are scheduled to entertain Toledo at 4:30 p.m.
