Moore, a 6-foot-3 junior forward, set a program record with 64 blocks and was named the Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Included among Hudson’s myriad highlights was a program-record 43-point game against Ball State on Jan. 11.
CMU’s six selections tied Miami (Ohio), Northern Illinois, Toledo, and Bowling Green for the most among the 12 universities in the conference.
The Central Michigan women’s basketball team fell Thursday in the first round of the Women’s National Invitation Tournament against Wright State, 66-64.
Thursday’s game features two of the nation’s best rebounders in CMU’s Reyna Frost and Wright State’s Lexi Smith. Frost ranks sixth among NCAA Division I players at 11.3 boards per game, while Smith leads the nation with 6.0 offensive rebounds per game.
