MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Three Central Michigan wrestlers have received an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships.

CMU’s Justin Oliver (149 pounds), Jordan Ellingwood (184) and Jordan Atienza (197) were added to the NCAA field, and will join four teammates who qualified for the event based on their respective performances last weekend at the Mid-American Conference Championships.

At-large bids are granted on three criteria: A wrestler’s RPI, his win percentage, and where he is ranked natinoally by the coaches.

The NCAA Championships are scheduled for Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland March 15-17.

CMU’s Mason Smith (141), Colin Heffernan (157), CJ Brucki (174) and Matt Stencel (285) had punched their respective tickets to Cleveland at the MAC Championships.
