Horan Captures Second Title at MAC Championships

2015-16: Named Academic All-MAC and to the National Wrestling Coaches Association All-Academic Team … compiled a 25-13 record for the season, wrestling at 141 lbs. … went 12-4 in dual meets, including a 6-2 mark versus MAC opponents … ranked in the conference and nationally throughout the 15-16 season … placed second at the Michigan State Open (11/15), going 4-1 … pinned 16th-ranked Steve Bleise of Northern Illinois (12/3) in 39-3 MAC win over the Huskies … went 4-1 at the Reno Tournament of Champions (12/20), finishing second at 141 lbs. … won eight straight matches, including four versus MAC foes and two against Big Ten opponents, late in the regular season … placed fourth at 141 lbs. at the MAC Championships … went 0-2 at the NCAA Championships (3/17-3/18).
