2016-17: Posted a 14-4 record at 174 pounds … recorded four pins, four technical falls, and one major decision … went 4-0 to place first at Alma Open (1/21), recording two pins and a technical fall … went 4-1 in placing second at Mount Union Purple Raider Open (1/15), recording a pin, a technical fall and a major decision … went 2-1 at the Midlands Championships at Northwestern (12/29-30) … placed third at Michigan State Open (11/20), going 4-1 with lone loss coming to Penn State’s Mark Hall, who went on to win the national title in the weight class.
