Gymnastics Announces 2026 Schedule

Home opener against Western Michigan (Jan. 18), visits to Georgia (Jan. 30) and Iowa (March 6) on the docket
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Fresh off its 2025 Mid-American Conference Tournament Championships title, Central Michigan gymnastics announces its 2026 schedule.
Western Michigan (Jan. 18) opens the four-meet home schedule, followed by Illinois State (Jan. 24), Kent State (Feb. 13), and Ball State (March 13).
Central Michigan's road schedule is headlined by quad meets at Georgia (Jan. 30) and at Iowa (March 6).
The Chippewas will also visit Southeast Missouri State (Jan. 9) to open the season with a quad meet, followed by Eastern Michigan (Feb. 8), Bowling Green (Feb. 22) and Northern Illinois (Feb. 27) in conference competition.
The 2026 MAC Championships are scheduled for Bowling Green, Ohio on March 21.
CMU returns 14 gymnasts, including 2025 MAC Gymnast of the Year Luciana Alvarado-Reid as Christine MacDonald begins her seventh season in charge of the program.
