Goh Earns Weekly MAC Award

MOUNT PLEASANT, MICH. – Central Michigan's Ashley Goh has been named the co-Mid-American Conference Player of the Week for women's golf.
Goh, a senior from Malaysia, shot a 54-hole 220 total to tie for seventh at the CMU-hosted A-Ga-Ming Invitational at A-Ga-Ming Golf Resort in Kewadin, Mich. The event concluded on Monday.
Goh opened with a 6-over par 78 and then followed with back-to-back 1-under 71s, moving from 13th place to tie for seventh in the 80-player field.
She led the Chippewas to a fifth-place finish in the 13-team field, which included three other MAC squads, Eastern Michigan, Western Michigan and Ohio.
Goh shared the weekly honor with Western Michigan's Alissa Fish, who tied with Goh for seventh place. Fish shot 77-74-69.
