Tera Albrecht was named Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Services in October 2013.
After earning both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Central Michigan, Albrecht was originally hired at her alma mater in 2002 as Life Skills Coordinator. In 2004 she became an academic advisor for Academic Advising and Assistance, a capacity she continued until 2005 when she became an instructor and the internship coordinator for the Sport Management division in the Physical Education Department.
She re-joined the athletics department in 2008 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Academic Services and was promoted to Associate Director of Student-Athlete Services in 2011. Albrecht took over oversight of the department in July of 2012 when she as named Assistant Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Services
She serves as the academic advisor for Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country, Field Hockey and Softball and coordinates the First-Year Experience 101 course for first-year student athletes. She is also the primary liaison for Admissions and Orientation for all incoming student-athletes.
Albrecht began her career as the Assistant Director of Athletic Academic Services at Western Michigan from 2001-02.
She earned her graduate degree from CMU in 2001 and her undergraduate degree in 1999.
