Championship Fund

The Chippewa Marching Band relies on so many people for its continued excellence and success - coaches, players, parents, alumni, students and friends – we're proud to be part of the CMU community and to carry the Chippewa name. No group of supporters is more valuable to us than the fans in the stands! For eighty-seven years we have made it our number one priority to entertain the Chippewa Faithful while firing them up in support of our football team. Your support of our program through the Marching Band Championship Fund will go a long way toward supporting our efforts. This year our Trombone Section will have the benefit of professional quality instruments and the entire band will travel with the team to East Lansing when the Chippewas again meet the Spartans, both initiatives made possible through contributions to the  our championship fund. Thanks for helping to ensure the continued excellence of our Marching Chips for years to come!

~Dr. James Batcheller

Director, The Chippewa Marching Band
