MOUNT PLEASANT — Central Michigan head soccer coach
Tom Anagnost announced the hiring of Stephanie Webb as the program’s graduate assistant coach on Tuesday.
Webb comes to the Chippewas after spending the past year as the Technical Academy Director of the Palm Harbor Soccer Club U9-15 program in Palm Harbor, Fla. She organized training sessions, advised head coaches in their development and put together season plans for the entire program.
Prior to that, Webb worked with the soccer program at Stetson University. She provided administrative support for the soccer team’s annual seven-on-seven tournament, organized training sessions and assisted with the program’s day-to-day operations.
“We are excited to have Stephanie join our soccer family,” Anagnost said. “She has a good breadth of experience. She loves the game and has a great personality, which I know will rub off on our student-athletes. She is a very good attacking soccer mind who will add positively to our soccer program.”
Webb competed collegiately at Stetson for two seasons, playing 25 matches and starting six times for the Hatters. Before transferring to Stetson, she competed for Texas A&M International for two seasons. In 29 contests with the Dustdevils, Webb tallied 36 points on 16 goals and four assists.
Webb graduated from Stetson with a degree in integrative health sciences in May 2009.
