Made the transition from tight end to offensive line during spring practice.  

2009: Starter in all 13 games at right tackle ... part of an offensive line that has helped CMU lead the MAC in scoring (33.2 ppg) and rank second in total offense (416.9 ypg).

2008: Played in 11 games … made four starts … caught at least one pass in seven different games … first career touchdown came on a 2-yard reception against Western Michigan (10/18) … finished with eight receptions for 65 yards.

2007: Redshirted.

High School: Two-time all-state first team selection … three-year starter … ranked 34th on Detroit Free Press Fab 50 list … No. 40 on Detroit News Blue Chip list … collected 154 career receptions for 2,877 yards and 26 touchdowns … career receptions total is fifth in state history and yardage total is third … caught 62 passes for 1,021 yards as a senior … posted 54 receptions for 1,025 yards as a junior … three-time all-city and all-league honoree … also earned four varsity letters in basketball … school’s all-time leading scorer … two-time honorable all-state selection and two-time third team all-state honoree … three-time all-city and allconference selection.

Personal: Parents are David and Kim Weaver … chose CMU over Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan … prep coach was Ed Greenman … born Dec. 6, 1988 … electrical engineering major.
