Imbrock (Hamler, Ohio/Patrick Henry HS) set Central Michigan's hammer throw record twice during the 2011 season, breaking the record with a toss of 187-0 at the John Jacobs Invitational before eclipsing her own mark at the MAC Championships with a throw of 190-7.  A sports studies major with a 3.64 grade-point average, Imbrock was a two-time NCAA East Regional qualifier during her four years and was named Academic All-MAC honorable mention following the 2009 outdoor season.

A mathematics major with a 3.85 GPA, Sisson placed seventh in the 400m hurdles at the outdoor MAC Championships with a time of 1:03.12 and also ran a leg on the sixth-place 4X400m relay team. The senior was also named to the honorable mention Academic All-MAC team twice during her career.

Eight Chippewas were named Academic All-MAC honorable mention, including Katelyn Christensen (Lakeview, Mich./Lakeview HS), Danielle Dakroub (Okemos, Mich./Okemos HS), Brittany Dixon (Rockford, Mich./Rockford HS), Veronica Garcia (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove North HS), Stephanie Hurley (Bay City, Mich./John Glenn HS), Misha Lamphere (Saranac, Mich./Saranac HS), Andrea Pawlowski (Pinckney, Mich./Pinckney HS) and Maddie Ribant (Flushing, Mich./Flushing HS).

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50% of the contests for that particular sport.
