Graduate student Zach Saylor earned honorable mention academic all-conference recognition on Friday.
Saylor Named to Academic All-MAC List
CLEVELAND -  Graduate student and Chippewa forward Zach Saylor was one of 12 student-athletes named to the 2013 Men's Basketball Academic All-MAC Team Friday, earning one of five honorable mention spots as voted by faculty athletic representatives at Mid-American Conference institutions.

Saylor, who is obtaining his Master of Science in Administration, boasts a 3.80 grade point average. The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
