Jacquie Lacek joined head coach Neil Stafford's coaching staff for the 2012 season following a standout playing career for the Chippewas from 2003-06.

Lacek was a four-time letterwinner forward for the Chippewas from 2003-06, and is the all-time career leader in assists with 19. She also racked up the second-most career points in CMU history with 65, and is the third-most prolific goal-scorer in CMU history with 23. She was named to the All-MAC first team in 2006, the second team in 2004 and 2005, and the freshman team in 2003. She was also Academic All-MAC from 2004-2006, and was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District IV first team in 2004 and 2006.

She holds the single-match record for points with seven against IPFW in 2004, and shares a three-way tie for the single-match record for goals with three against IPFW. 

Lacek, a 2007 graduate of CMU with a B.S. in secondary education, with a specialization in mathematics and physical education, currently teaches math at Sacred Heart Academy in Mount Pleasant. She also graduated from Central Michigan in 2010 with a master’s degree in sport administration.
