The Series
The Chippewas will meet Notre Dame for the 30th time in program history Tuesday with the Fighting Irish holding a 18-10-1 advantage in the all time series.

Big Cat's Big Day
Senior designated hitter Jordan Adams helped the Chippewas clinch their series versus Eastern Michigan Sunday with a career-high five RBI. Adams belted a three-run bomb for his fifth home run of the season and drove in another pair of runs with a single to finish 2-for-5 in the contest.

Leichman Heating Up
Sophomore first baseman Cody Leichman has found his groove from the left side of the plate, batting .615 over the weekend versus Eastern Michigan to improve his batting average to .313 on the season. Leichman became the first player since 2009 to record five hits in a contest, going a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate in Saturday's 10-1 win over the Eagles.

Fresh Delivery
Taylor Lehnert, a freshman right handed pitcher from Schererville, Ind., threw his first career complete game Saturday in leading the Chippewas past Eastern Michigan, 10-1. Lehnert gave up just five hits and one run in the contest, striking out five Eagles.

Lehnerts' high school teammate and fellow freshman Jimmy McNamara will take the mound versus Notre Dame Tuesday afternoon. McNamara is 0-2 on the year with a 3.09 ERA.

Bats Come Alive
Five different players had at least two hits and the Chippewas pounded out a season-high 19 hits versus Eastern Michigan Saturday. In addition to Leichman's 5-for-5 day, freshman Logan Regnier went 4-for-5, while sophomore Pat MacKenzie, sophomore Nick Regnier and freshman Dylan Goodwin each had two hits apiece.
