Chippewa Champion Homecoming Event

On Saturday, October 19, the Chippewa Athletic Fund will once again host all Chippewa Champions at its annual Chippewa Champion Homecoming Event.

While the majority of Chippewa Champion events are exclusive to a specific sport, the annual homecoming event is unique in that it brings together Chippewa Champions from all sports in a celebration of the Championship Culture that is Central Michigan University Athletics.

Chippewa Champions will receive two complimentary tickets to the homecoming football game against Northern Illinois, two complimentary admissions to the Chippewa Athletic Fund pre-game tailgate located at Touchdown Terrace and one parking pass in Chippewa Club reserved parking in lot 62 east.

During the pre-game tailgate, Chippewa Champions will have an opportunity to interact with many CMU head coaches and their staffs.

The CAF pre-game tailgate ends with the game’s opening kick at 3:00 p.m., but we invite all Chippewa Champions to enjoy the Touchdown Terrace hospitality area throughout the game until the start of the fourth quarter.

We ask that Chippewa Champions attending the annual homecoming celebration RSVP by contacting CAF Administrative Assistant Ginger Kaufman at 989-774-6680 or by email at chipclub@cmich.edu by no later than Wednesday, October 9.

The Chippewa Champions program, launched in the spring of 2011, has been a critical financial catalyst for CMU Athletics and has played a large part in the Chippewa Athletic Fund’s record-breaking annual totals over the past two years.

Chippewa Champions donate a minimum of $500 to a sport’s championship fund, which helps to fund initiatives above and beyond a program’s annual operating budget. In return, Chippewa Champions receive exclusive Adidas apparel, audio newsletters from the head coach and invitations to exclusive member events.

To become a member or to learn more about the Chippewa Champions program contact the Chippewa Athletic Fund at 989-774-6680.
