Junior Crystal Bradford was named Mid-American Conference West Division Player of the Week on Monday, the second consecutive weekly MAC honor for the junior and the fourth of the season.
Bradford became just the fourth player in program history to record a triple-double with 19 points, 16 rebounds and a career-high 11 assists on Sunday to cap another stellar week in which she averaged 17.0 points, 14.0 rebounds and 7.5 assists to help CMU claim a pair of road wins over MAC East foes Akron and Buffalo.
She is the first player in the MAC to record a triple-double this season and just one of 13 players across the country to do so during the 2013-14 season thus far.
Bradford started her week with 15 points, 12 rebounds and four assists as the Maroon and Gold claimed a 26-point win over MAC East favorite Akron, 109-83. She now has at least a double-double in four-straight contests and leads the league with nine on the year.
