CMU vs. Detroit Postgame Notes
Derek Jackson collected 22 minutes off the bench tonight, relieving primarily Amir Rashid at the point. Jackson averages more than 22 minutes per game, by far the most of any non-starter.

Trey Zeigler was in double digits by halftime, leading all scorers with 11 points at the break. His 21-point night was his fourth 20-point game of the season and first in six outings.

Zeigler went to the free throw line a season-high 13 times, connecting on just an uncharacteristic six of his attempts. He entered the game shooting 80 percent (20-25) from the line.

Andre Coimbra recorded career highs of five blocks and eight rebounds to accompany his 10 points. It was his second double-digit scoring night and his first since scoring 12 in the season opener.

The Chippewas' first three-pointer, after their first 13 tries were unsuccessful, didn't come until the 11:19 mark (Jalin Thomas) of the second half . Thomas has hit at least one three-pointer in his last six games.

Thomas grabbed a season-best eight rebounds.
