One of the premier basketball players in Central Michigan history, Dan is a 6-foot-6 product of Traverse City High School... played in the National Basketball Association for the Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Miami Heat... won a bronze medal with the 1988 U.S. Olympic Team... selected 14th in the first round of the 1988 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns... one of the top three-point shooters in NBA history... was CMU's second all-time scorer (2,055 points) and ranked sixth in career field goal percentage (.536)... his 759 points in 1987-88 set a program record and he eventually owned three of the top seven single-season scoring averages... ranked second in career steals (171) and third in career blocks (95)...a three-time first-team All-Mid-American Conference selection.
