- Redshirt freshman Jewel Cotton set a new career high with 10 rebounds, seven of which came on the defensive end. Cotton's previous career high was seven, set in two different games earlier this season. 

- Junior Crystal Bradford posted her ninth 20-plus scoring effort of the season with a team-high 21 points. Bradford also finished the game with five steals, moving into sole possession of fifth place all time at CMU with 198 career steals. 

- Senior Niki DiGuilio made a trio of three-point field goals, extending her consecutive games with a three-point field goal streak to 23. DiGuilio set a new career high with five assists as well. 

- Sophomore Da'Jourie Turner notched double figures in the second-straight contest, scoring 10 points. 

- CMU has had at least three players score in double figures in each of its 10 wins this season. 

- The Chippewas committed a season-low nine turnovers while forcing 21 from the Golden Flashes. CMU turned Kent State's 21 turnovers into 31 points. 

- CMU held a 41-36 advantage on the glass Wednesday night, improving to 8-1 when outrebounding its opponent this season.
