Chippewas Return to All Pro-Freight Stadium for MAC Tournament

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The Central Michigan baseball program is ready to begin its quest for its third Mid-American Conference Tournament title in program history.

The Chippewas earned the No. 8 seed after going 12-15 during league play and will open the tournament in a rematch of last season's championship contests versus No. 1 seed Kent State on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. 

Sophomore Jordan Foley will take the mound for the Chippewas' opposite Kent State's Taylor Williams in a matchup of two of the league's top pitchers. 

Kent State defeated Central Michigan in the 2012 MAC Tournament Championship game at All Pro-Freight Stadium in Avon, Ohio, 3-1.
