Offensively, Michael Allen paces the offense with a .364 batting average, 16 doulbes and 35 RBI. The Panthers have a team batting average of .306 and have stolen 87 bases on 108 attempts this season.

The Panthers pitching staff has posted a 3.21 team ERA and allowed opposing teams to bat just .231.

Last Season

The two teams combined to walk 21 batters in the contest and hit an additional six batters to make up 27 free passes in the game.

Matt Trowbridge struck out four batters over 5.1 innings of work to earn the win, while both Dylan Rheault and Kenton San Miguel pitched in relief for the Chippewas.

Jacobs Finding His Stride
Redshirt freshman Neal Jacobs has been on fire at the plate over his last 10 games, batting .351 (13-for-37) with a team-high nine RBI. The left fielder has a pair of home runs during the stretch and currently leads the team with five on the season.
