Central Michigan's Wednesday contest at Michigan State has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions. A makeup date is being worked out between the two programs and will be announced at a later date.
First Game of Season Series versus Michigan State Postponed

MOUNT PLEASANT — The Central Michigan baseball program's contest scheduled for Wednesday at Michigan State has been postponed due to unplayable field conditions. 

A make up date of Tuesday, April 2 at 3:05 p.m. has been scheduled. 

The Chippewas and Spartans were set to play the first of their three-game season series Wednesday afternoon at McLane Stadium. 

This marks the third straight week the Maroon and Gold have had a midweek cancellation or postponement.

CMU will continue play this Friday with its home opener at Theunissen Stadium versus Bowling Green. The first game in the weekend series is scheduled to begin at 3:05 p.m.
