Where Were We?
Central Michigan and Michigan State will start Tuesday's play where they left off on Tuesday, April 17 when the third annual Clash at Comerica was suspended due to rain. CMU currently trails the Spartans in the bottom of the fifth inning, 1-0, but has a pair of runners on base with no outs. 

Following the conclusion of the suspended contest, the Chippewas will play their final home game and close the gates on the 12th season at Theunissen Stadium. 

Ticket Policy
Fans who attended the original contest versus Michigan State at Comerica Park on April 17 can bring their ticket stub to Theunissten Stadium on Tuesday for entry for both contests. 

CMU vs. Michigan State
The Chippewas are 62-52 all time versus the Spartans dating back to their first meeting in 1911. The Spartans have won each of the last four contests, including a 4-2 decision at McLane Stadium April 2. 

CMU vs. Western MIchigan
The Maroon and Gold will look to move closer to evening the all-time series versus their rivals from Kalamazoo as they enter the weekend trailing, 83-74-1 dating back to 1920. CMU took two of three from the Broncos to close the regular season in 2012. 

Running after Records
Freshman Logan Regnier is trying to cement his name in the Central Michigan record books in just his first season as he currently has the fourth most triples in a single season with seven and is eight stolen bases shy of moving in the top 10. 

MAC Tournament Outlook
The Chippewas enter their final Mid-American Conference series of the regular season on the outside looking in of the MAC Tournament at All-Pro Freight Stadium in Avon, Ohio May 22-25. CMU is currently No. 9 in the MAC overall standings, one game behind Eastern Michigan and Toledo and a half game behind Akron.

The Maroon and Gold are seeking to qualify for their 11th consecutive trip to the MAC Tournament.
