AVON, Ohio - Thursday's Mid-American Conference Tournament game between Central Michigan and Miami has been suspended due to inclement weather.
The game will resume Friday at 9 a.m. at All Pro Freight Stadium.
The Chippewas and RedHawks were tied 5-5 in the bottom of the sixth inning when persistent heavy rain moved in to northeast Ohio. The RedHawks had loaded the bases with two outs, and Miami's John Crummy was at the plate with a 2-2 count against CMU's Jason Gamble when the umpires pulled the teams off the field.
The winner of the CMU-Miami matchup will play again later Friday against the loser of a Kent State-Ball State matchup scheduled to begin 30 minutes following CMU-Miami.
