Mount Pleasant, Mich.- Central Michigan’s home game against Northwood on March 19 has been postponed due to inclement weather. The Chippewas will be back in action on Friday, March 22, for their Mid-American Conference opening series at Buffalo.
Central Michigan enters the weekend series 9-10 and coming off of three wins at Marshall (8-10). Nick Regnier leads the Chippewas at the plate with a .333 batting average and has a team-high 27 hits and 16 RBIs.
Jordan Foley has gotten off to a hot start on the mound, striking out 33 in five starts. He is perfect 4-0 on the season and has a 1.08 ERA. Opponents have batted just .177 against him this season.
First pitch against the Bulls (10-9) will be at 3 p.m. on March 22 in Amherst, N.Y. No make-up day for the game against Timberwolves (5-6) has been announced.
