2010: Earned All-MAC Tournament honors ... named MAC Player of the Week on May 10 ... led the team in batting average, on-base percentage and runs scored ... had 21 two-out RBI ... had 24 multiple-hit efforts, including four three-hit days, and 11 multiple-RBI contests, including two four-RBI contests ... had a hit in nine straight contests and finished his career with at least one hit in six straight ... hit a team-high .427 in MAC games with eight doubles, one home run and 20 RBI... started 47 games at third base ... his overall batting average and on-base percentage ranked second in the MAC ... ranked fourth in league batting average and third in on-base percentage (.505) ... hit .444 (8-for-18) during the MAC Tournament with five RBI.
2009: Suffered a broken hand four games into the season and received a medical redshirt.
2008: Started at least one game at every infield position except catcher, including five on the mound … had seven multi-hit efforts and four multiple-RBI contests … hit .263 in MAC action … went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple and three RBI against Fairfield (3/7) … made five starts in his six appearances on the mound … his win came in a scoreless inning of relief against Michigan State (5/13). 2007: Second on the team with three MAC home runs … made three conference appearances as a relief pitcher, giving up two runs in 3.2 innings, walking five and fanning two … had four multi-hit games … posted five multi-RBI efforts … ended the season on a five-game hitting streak, his longest of the year … fanned two over five shutout innings while allowing just one hit and one walk to Wright State (5/15) in his only start of the year on the mound … started 23 games at third, eight at shortstop and one on the mound. 2006: Was 2-for-5 with a walk, home run, two runs, and five RBI at Western Kentucky (2/17) … season-high three hits in five at-bats, including two doubles, two runs, and three runs batted in, at Notre Dame (3/22) … started 29 of his 32 games at shortstop.
High School: Earned four letters in baseball and three in basketball … played baseball for Eric Bappe … earned all-state honors in baseball … batted .477 his senior year after hitting .433 his junior season … named to the Iowa Super Team … garnered all-conference honors on the hardwood.
