2010: Tabbed MAC West Player of the Week on March 16 ... had 22 multiple-hit efforts, including a season-best four at Michigan (4/7) ... drove in multiple runs on five occasions ... led CMU in stolen bases and triples ... put together a 10-game hitting streak to open the season from Feb. 26 to March 14 ... had five doubles, a triple, two home runs and 10 RBI in MAC games ... all 56 starts came in center field.

2009: Had a 15-game hitting streak early in the season … went 26-for-65 (.400) in the streak … had hits in 28 games of a 31-game stretch … his 19 steals ranked him sixth among MAC players … had a team-best 22 multiple-hit efforts, including a pair of four-hit days … had eight multi-RBI contests … had 10 doubles and a homer while hitting .291 in MAC games … 44 of his starts came in the outfield.

2008: Had a 20-game hitting streak, third-longest in school history, snapped in the third game of the season after collecting seven hits in the team’s first two games … capped a 3-for-3, three-RBI day with a home run at Oakland (4/15) … also had hitting streaks of seven and eight games … had 11 multi-hit games and four multiple RBI contests.

2007: Named to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America Team … was a second-team All-MAC selection … injuries caused him to fall 19 at bats shy of qualifying for national stat rankings … his .430 batting average would have finished among the top 10 in the nation … named MAC Player of the Week on May 14 … led the team in batting average (.417) in MAC games … smacked at least two hits on 15 occasions, including four each against Western Michigan (5/13) and at Ball State (5/17) … had five games with multiple RBI … knocked in three runs in back-to-back games at Michigan State (4/25) and at Toledo (4/27) … finished the season on an 18-game hitting streak … used exclusively as a designated hitter.

2006:

High School: Four-year letterman in baseball … coached by Tony Nertoli … also lettered twice in football and hockey … competed in the Perfect Game All-Star Game … earned second-team all-state honors as a catcher … selected team’s most valuable pitcher three seasons … once struck out 15 batters in a five-inning no-hitter … team’s MVP for four straight years … three-time All-Big North Conference honoree … ran for 878 yards and 13 touchdowns on the gridiron as a senior and scored touchdowns rushing, receiving, on a kickoff return, and an interception return … National Honor Society member … played summer ball for the American Legion Post Travelers and the Oakland Cubs.
