MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan Athletics is excited to announce a new feature that allows fans to pick their own seat for games at Kelly/Shorts Stadium during the 2013 football season.
Utilizing Paciolan’s “pick your own seat” technology, fans will have the ability to purchase single-game tickets in their preferred seating area for the first time.
“We are very excited to roll this feature out to our fans and provide them with a first-class experience when purchasing tickets to our football games,” Assistant Athletic Director of Ticket Sales and Revenue Generation Mike Dabbs said. “The pick your own seat option allows fans to view the seating availability in our stadium and select where they would like to sit on gameday. We want to continue to make our fans’ experience exciting and seamless from start to finish and Paciolan’s pick your seat technology gives us an outstanding opportunity to do so.”
Central Michigan introduced Paciolan’s eVenue online ticketing solution in 2011, enabling a seamless process of selling tickets in real time through its branded athletics website. Single-game tickets for the upcoming 2013 football season are currently on sale.
CMU opens Kelly/Shorts Stadium on Sept. 7 when it hosts New Hampshire in a 3 p.m. contest. The Chippewas are coming a 2012 campaign in which they finished 7-5, including a victory in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl over Western Kentucky, 24-21.
