One of the top women's basketball players in Chippewa history, Jody led her four teams to a record of 81-35 with two Mid-American Conference championships and two second place finishes... an outstanding student as well as a player, she was a first-team GTE-CoSIDA Academic All-America honoree in 1987 and an honorable mention pick in 1986... earned first-team academic All-MAC accolades three times... twice named to All-MAC teams and All-MAC Tournament teams... was an honorable mention Freshman All-America in... ended her career as third-leading scorer in CMU annals (1,527 points) and ranked second in assists (445)... ranked No.1 in career free throw percentage (.851)... led the nation in free throw percentage (.905) in 1985-86... held five single-season CMU marks and set a NCAA record of 57 consecutive free throws.
