A two-year standout basketball player who helped lead the 1975 Chippewas to their first Mid-American Conference title... earned second-team All-MAC honors as a junior and was a unanimous first-team pick as a senior in 1975... posted a career scoring average of 17.3 points, ranking fifth in CMU history... scored 42 points in his final home game and then scored all five CMU points in the overtime MAC championship contest... drafted in the third round of the 1975 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Jazz... played eight seasons in the NBA with New Orleans, Detroit and Atlanta... scored 40 points in one NBA game and averaged more than 17 points per game in one season for New Orleans.
