The Chippewa basketball program's premier shot-blocker, he was a first-team All-Mid-American Conference pick in 1977... led Central in rebounding in 1976 (9.2 rpg) and 1977 (11.1) while helping the Chippewas to a pair of MAC championships... spent 10 seasons in the National Basketball Association... played for the Detroit Pistons, Utah Jazz, Cleveland Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls... set a single-season record of 96 blocked shots in 1977 and owned the career mark of 234... scored 1,095 points and grabbed 713 rebounds in his career.
