Bradford on a Tear
Four of junior Crystal Bradford’s five double-doubles have come in consecutive games leading into the weekend. Since being limited to nine points and seven rebounds in a win over Xavier on Nov. 30, Bradford is averaging 26.3 points, 14.3 rebounds and 4.8 steals per game.

CB23 POTW
Bradford nabbed her second MAC West Player of the Week honor Monday after averaging 23 points, 14.5 rebounds and six steals in the Chippewas’ two contests versus Prairie View A&M and Notre Dame. Bradford has earned the award nine times in her career, leading all active players in the MAC.

Sharp Shooter
CMU has been one of the top shooting three-point teams in the country in 2013 thanks in large part to senior Niki DiGuilio. The senior is fifth in the country with 3.6 three-point field goals per game and has scored in double digits in eight contests. DiGuilio has 36 three-point field goals already and has knocked down at least one three-point field goal in 16 straight games.

Johnson Finds Her Groove
Senior Taylor Johnson scored a season-high 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting at Notre Dame, including 3-of-6 from behind the arc. Johnson had been limited to just 12 points total in the previous four games.

Straight Thievery
Led by Crystal Bradford’s career-high seven steals Wednesday, Central Michigan had a season-high 14 steals in its 90-66 win over Prairie View A&M. CMU was 14-5 last season when recording 10-plus steals.

The Last Time CMU and Dayton Met...
...the Chippewas scored nine points in the final 21 seconds to claim a 94-91 win inside McGuirk Arena on Dec. 5. Crystal Bradford gave CMU the win and earned the No. 2 spot on SportsCenter’s “Top 10 Plays” when she knocked down the game-winning three with 0.2 seconds remaining versus Dayton on Dec. 5. Bradford finished the game with a McGuirk Arena record 34 points and also pulled down 12 rebounds.
