MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Distance runners from Central Michigan’s track and field team will travel to Bloomington, Ind. to compete at the Gladstein Invitational Friday.
“This meet gives our student-athletes an opportunity to compete at a great facility and against great competition,” director of track and field Mark Guthrie said.
Sophomore Nate Ghena and redshirt freshman Spencer Nousain will compete in the 5000m race while senior Krista Parks will look to lead the way for the women’s squad along side teammates Breanne Lesnar and Abbey Kelto.
In the 3k race junior Ethan Lievense will be the lone Chippewa competing on the men’s side. Redshirt freshman Kelly Schubert will be accompanied by teammates Alyssa Dyer and Katie Weiler.
