All-American Milica Kuldizan returns to competition this weekend at the USF Open.
Throwers Head to USF to Start Outdoor Season

Mount Pleasant - The Central Michigan track & field team will be sending four throwers to the USF Open, to be held at the University of South Florida in Tampa on Friday, March 8. The meet begins the 2013 outdoor season for the Chippewas.

Throwing events will start at 11 a.m.

The meet marks the return of All-America javelin thrower Milica Kulidzan, who holds the school javelin record at 154-10. Kulidzan will be competing in the javelin at USF, along with freshman Kyleigh Young on the women's side. Young will be competing in her first meet.

Competing for the men will be sophomore Cole Walderzak and freshman Brandon McCleese. Walderzak will be throwing hammer and discus whie McCleese will be throwing javelin. Both athletes will be seeing his first collegiate action.
