MOUNT PLEASANT – Central Michigan University student-athletes are hosting the annual clothing drive through Nov. 30. All members of the community are invited to participate in this event to help the less fortunate.

Contributors can drop off gently used clothing items of all sizes at the Dick Enberg Academic Center, located inside the Indoor Athletic Complex.

"Once we collect all our items, we will take them to Christmas Outreach at Finch Fieldhouse so they can be organized and distributed to families," Assistant Director of Athletic Academic Services Tera Albrecht said.

CMU student-athletes have been helping the Isabella County communities for more than a decade through this clothing drive.

"The clothing drive means a lot to me and all of the student-athletes here,” senior soccer midfielder Jenna Hill said. "The Mount Pleasant community has been very supportive of CMU athletics and us as athletes, so it’s great when we are given the opportunity to give back."

Christmas Outreach is in its 31st year helping families in Isabella County during the holiday season.
