MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Less than half of the 10,000 tickets allocated for CMU students to attend the "Clash at Kelly/Shorts" remain available for distribution Thursday afternoon in the second of two pickup events determined by student leaders last spring.
CMU students will have an opportunity Thursday prior to the home football game to have a ticket scanned onto their CMU ID card. Scanning begins at 3 p.m. at the southwest ticket booth adjacent to Kelly/Shorts Stadium, near lot 63. A valid ID card must be presented. A ticket will be loaded onto the student's account and a receipt will be emailed.
Tailgating also begins a 3 p.m., four hours prior to kickoff. Students without a parking pass for lot 63 should park in their desired tailgating lot and walk to the southwest ticket booth. Parking passes may be purchased in advance at Ticket Central or on game day at each lot.
Approximately 5,500 tickets were distributed to students Sunday at MAINstage. The line extended from The Island out to Broomfield Road and west to 7-11.
A line is expected to form several hours prior to 3 p.m. Thursday.
