MOUNT PLEASANT -
Central Michigan football players were cheering for a different game this morning. Before they prepared for the spring football game, the team held the Youth Football Clinic located at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.

Football players signed autographs in the morning while kids and their families arrived for the event. Toward the end of the autograph signing, the kids created their own football game and had the Chippewas cheering them on. CMU head football coach Dan Enos gathered everyone around for a few announcements and divided the kids into teams with a CMU football player as their guide.

The kids were excited as they got to walk through the Chippewas' locker room and even run through the tunnel onto the field at Kelly/Shorts Stadium. As families cheered from the sidelines, kids got to participate in a variety of football drills. Some of the favorites included tug-of-war, field goal kicking, passing exercises, and even a linebacker simulation that ended in a victory dance.

Not only did the kids and families have a good time, but so did the football team. Every person had a smile on their face. The event ended as the kids ate pizza and watched their favorite Chippewas practice for the spring game.
