2007-08: Placed fifth at 174 pounds at the NCAA Championships to earn All-America honors ... won third consecutive MAC championship … 5-0 in MAC duals … opened the season with 15 consecutive victories … named MAC Wrestler of the Week after winning title at Reno Tournament of Champions … as No. 3 seed, defeated No. 2 seed Brandon Mason (Oklahoma State) in semis and No. 1 seed Matt Stolpinski (Navy) in finals … advanced to semifinals before placing third at Midlands … recorded 100th career victory with a 16-5 major decision over Eastern Michigan’s Derek Foore.
