Ninth individual in program history to win at least three MAC titles … three-time national qualifier ... career record of 66-31 ... career MAC dual record of 9-1.

2009-10: All-American ... placed eighth at 157 pounds at the NCAA Championships ... finished 4-3 at the national tournament ... MAC champion at 157 pounds … defeated defending 157-pound champion Bryan Deutsch (Northern Illinois), 8-5, in conference tournament final … missed six weeks due to an injury suffered at Midlands … placed sixth at Midlands … named MAC Wrestler of the Week after defeating No. 1-ranked and defending national champion Jordan Burroughs (Nebraska), 3-2 in sudden victory, at Nebraska on Dec. 22.

2008-09: Claimed MAC championship at 149 pounds … defeated Desmond Green (Buffalo), 6-1, in MAC Championships finals … won three matches at the NCAA Championships … named Most Outstanding Wrestler after winning 149-pound title at Brockport/Oklahoma Gold Classic … seeded fourth, defeated No. 1 seed Will Rowe (Oklahoma), 5-3, and No. 2 seed Matt Kyler (Army) in semis and finals, respectively … selected MAC Wrestler of the Week after winning at Brockport … advanced to semifinals at Midlands before placing fifth … finished with a career-high 24 victories.

2007-08: Won a MAC championship in his first trip to the conference tournament … earned a 7-3 decision over Bryan O’Connor (Northern Illinois) in the 157-pound final at the MAC Championships … posted a 5-3 decision over Army’s Christian Snook in first round at NCAA Championships … placed third at the Cleveland State Open … went 1-2 at Midlands … was 3-0 in MAC duals.



2006-07: Finished seventh at the Michigan State Open … went 3-2 at Midlands … picked up a win at the Chippewa Challenge over Gardner-Webb’s Nick Raich.



2005-06: Redshirted … competing unattached, claimed 141-pound title at Cleveland State Open … won four straight matches in consolation bracket to place fourth at Michigan State Open.



High School: Placed in the state tournament three times – second in 2004, third in 2005 and fifth in 2003 … career record of 179-12 … won conference title with an undefeated record … four-time state qualifier … finished fourth at High School Senior Nationals to earn All-America honors … earned letters in wrestling (four), soccer (four), and baseball (three) … all-league selection in soccer.
