Mount Pleasant, Mich. — Kerby Tamm of the women's basketball program has named this week's Members First Credit Union Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Tamm scored a career-high 18 points, all of which came on a career-high six three-point field goals, to help Central Michigan earn a victory in the finale of the Paradise Jam over Xavier, 88-62. She finished 6-of-11 from behind the arc and chipped in with six rebounds and three assists.
A native of Petoskey, Mich., Tamm has earned a 3.61 grade point average as a biology major.
The Member's First Credit Union Scholar-Athlete of the Week will be announced each Monday during the 2013-14 academic year.
