MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan men's basketball heads out on the road to Bradley on Tuesday, Nov. 12, with the chance to start the season 2-0 for the first time since 2002-03.
The Chippewas and the Braves are set to tip off in Carver Arena at 8 p.m. ET
Central Michigan opened the season with a dominating win over Manchester last Friday, 101-49. CMU was led by John Simons, who tallied a career-high 27 points and nine rebounds. For his efforts, Simons was named the MAC West Division Player of the Week on Monday. Chris Fowler added a team-high seven assists and 12 different Chippewas scored in the contest.
Bradley has started the season 2-0 after home wins over Jacksonville State (72-65) and Alabama State (85-59) over the past four days. The Braves are led by Walt Lemon Jr. at 17.5 points per game while CMU transfer Auston Barnes is chipping in 11.5 ppg.
