Developed into a big-play threat, both on offense and special teams, in 2005 … led team in receiving yards for second straight year in 2005 … has returned a punt for a touchdown each of the past two seasons, the only Chippewa to return a punt for a score since 1983.
 
2005: Led team in receiving yards (832) and tied for team lead with four touchdown catches … ranked second among teammate with 56 receptions … ranked fourth in the MAC in punt return average (9.2 ypr) … set a Kelly/Shorts Stadium record with a 78-yard punt return for a touchdown versus Ohio (10/15) … named MAC West Special Teams Player of the Week following the Ohio game … caught five passes for a career-high 204 yards and a score at Miami (9/10) … his five receptions at Miami covered eight, 74, 50 (TD), 22, and 50 yards … made seven catches for 89 yards and a touchdown versus Toledo (10/29) … caught a career-high nine passes for 146 yards and two scores against Northern Illinois (11/5) … also caught nine passes for 108 yards the next week at Western Michigan (11/12).
 
2004: Started eight of the nine games he played in … led CMU in receiving yards (574) and TD receptions (seven) … ranked 13th in the MAC in receiving yards per game and scoring per game despite missing the last two contests due to injury … caught six passes for 157 yards and a TD against Southeast Missouri (9/18)  … had five receptions for 47 yards and a score against Kent State (10/2) … snagged four passes for 60 yards and a TD versus Northern Illinois (10/16) … two catches resulted in 87 yards and two scores against Toledo (10/23) … caught five passes for 91 yards and two touchdowns in the first half against Eastern Michigan before leaving due to injury (11/6).
 
2003: Saw action as a true freshman, grabbing seven passes for 61 yards … had three catches for 19 yards and scored a TD against Toledo (10/18) ... caught a pair of passes for 26 yards against Navy (11/22).
 
High School: Earned four letters in football and two in basketball at Plymouth High … MVP, all-conference, and all-state in both sports … caught 79 passes for 1,307 yards and 18 TDs as a prep senior … set state of North Carolina record with 60 career TDs and 4,451 yards … also holds the single-season mark with 1,723 yards.
