Welcome to the Club
Junior Crystal Bradford became the 22nd player in program to join the 1,000-point club with her 23-point performance at Kentucky. Bradford needed just 66 games to accomplish the feat and currently ranks 19th in program history with 1,031 career points.

Chasing 1,000
Three more CMU players are on pace to join Crystal Bradford in the 1,000-point club this season, including Taylor Johnson (905 points) and Niki DiGuilio (881) and junior Jessica Green (718). CMU has had 22 players reach the 1,000-point mark in program history, with six of them accomplishing the feat under Guevara.

Double-Double Dandy
Junior forward Jas’Mine Bracey has returned to the form that helped her earn All-MAC Freshmen Team honors in 2011 after battling a back injury last season. Bracey has posted a pair of double-doubles in the Chippewas’ first three games and is averaging 11.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per contest. Her 11.0 rebounds per game ranks first in the MAC.

DiGuilio Dialed In
Senior Niki DiGuilio is locked in from behind the arc, knocking down nine triples in the first three games. The senior scored a team-best 20 points in the season opener at UMass and has scored in double figures in all three games. DiGuilio needs just 119 points to reach 1,000 for her career and 34 three-point field goals to break the all-time CMU mark.

For the First Time
Central Michigan and Duke will square off for the first time in program history Friday at 1:15. The Blue Devils, currently ranked No. 2 in both the AP and Coaches’ polls, will be the highest ranked opponent the Chippewas have faced in program history.

Chippewas Versus Ranked Foes
Head Coach Sue Guevara has led Central Michigan to wins over ranked opponents three times, including last season when the Chippewas defeated No. 20 Texas in a consolation contest of the Maggie Dixon Surf N’ Slam Classic, 73-65. CMU also defeated No. 25 Louisville in 2009 and No. 12 Purdue in 2012.
