Mt. Pleasant - The opening of fall camp for the CMU football team also means that the annual 1100 Club member BBQ is right around the corner!
On Saturday, August 17, we invite 1100 Club members to attend a morning scrimmage and take an exclusive first look at the 2013 Chippewas just two weeks before they open the season at the Big House in Ann Arbor.
A group photo and BBQ will take place immediately following practice, where members will have the opportunity to interact with coaches, players and fellow members of the inner-circle of CMU Football.
The 1100 Club BBQ marks the start of the 2013-14 1100 Club membership year and membership apparel will be distributed at this event.
As the 1100 Club celebrates its seventh year as the critical financial catalyst for CMU Football, we would like to once again extend our sincerest thanks to each 1100 Club member. Our 2013-14 membership will be our largest ever thanks to your generous support.
Thanks to the above and beyond commitment of 1100 Club members, the program has been able to:
• Ensure student-athletes have access to summer school which keeps them on pace toward the ultimate goal—a degree from CMU
• Purchase eight new uniform combinations in 2012 which helps CMU stay on the cutting edge of a trend sweeping college football
• Provide the “Chippewa Fuel Station,” a critical tool that allows athletes to have access to proper nutrition in the locker room before and after workouts and practice
• Much, much more!
