MOUNT PLEASANT - Following an impressive fifth-place showing at the Midlands Championships last weekend, the No. 11 Central Michigan wrestling program will get back to dual action this Sunday when it takes on Bucknell at 6 p.m.
The Chippewas are 4-2 on the season in dual meets and have won their last two duals, while the Bison are 2-3 on the year and have dropped their last two. Bucknell will also wrestle Michigan State in East Lansing Sunday at noon.

The
Chippewas are 2-0 all time versus the Bison and claimed a meeting last season
in Lewisburg, 21-12. The Maroon and Gold claimed six of the 10 bouts, earning
bonus points from senior Ben Bennett at 184 pounds.

CMU is
currently ranked No. 11 in both the NWCA/USA Today coaches poll and Intermat
Tournament Strength Rankings. The InterMat rankings are based on individual
weight class rankings, while the NWCA poll is voted on by a nationwide pool of
head coaches and based on perceived dual meet strength. Individuals in the

Bennett Wins Midlands Title
Senior
Ben Bennett claimed a 2-1 decision over No. 1 seed at the Midlands
Championships last Sunday to earn his first career Midlands title. Bennett was
also named the Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament and had become the
16th member of the 100-win club at CMU earlier in the day with a 1-0 decision
over Maryland's Jimmy Sheptock.
Kelliher Enters Rankings
Junior
Crag Kelliher entered the national rankings for the first time in his career
Tuesday, ranking No. 20 at 174 pounds by InterMat. Kelliher is 10-5 on the
season and is coming off an eighth-place finish at the Midlands Championships.
