MOUNT PLEASANT - Sophomore Crystal Bradford has been named the Mid-American Conference West Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

Bradford led the Chippewas to a come-from-behind 54-50 victory over Green Bay in the Chippewas' only game of the week, avenging a 27-point loss to the Phoenix on Nov. 17. Bradford scored 17 of her season-high 23 points in the second half, knocking down a career-high five threes in the process. The sophomore knocked down her first four three-point attempts of the second half and scored 14 points in a 21-5 run that allowed the Chippewas to turn an eight-point halftime deficit into an eight-point lead.

She added a season-high 13 rebounds and four blocks in the process, finishing with her third double-double of the season and 14th of her career.

Bradford was named the MAC West Player of the Week Nov. 26 after leading the Chippewas to a 88-62 victory over South Dakota State. The award marks the third of the season for the Chippewas, as sophomore Jessica Green was named MAC West Player of the Week following CMU's opening weekend.

The Chippewas return to action next Monday, Dec. 17 when they take on Robert Morris inside McGuirk Arena at 6 p.m.
